【Abstract】 Objective To study the clinical efficacy of the regenerative medical technology for wounds and ulcers in the treatment of chronic refractory stage Ⅳ pressure ulcers. Methods 52 patients with chronic refractory stage Ⅳ pressure ulcers admitted to Shijiazhuang People’s Hospital from September 2022 to April 2023 were enrolled as research subjects, and divided, using the random number table, into the experimental group ( n = 27) and the control group ( n = 25). After conventional debridement, the local wounds of patients in the experimental group were treated with the regenerative medical technology for wounds and ulcers, while the control group patients were treated with Vaseline gauze. The wound area, pressure ulcer scale for healing (PUSH) score, wound bed score (WBS), clinical efficacy, and wound healing time were compared between the two groups. Results After 20 days of treatment, the wound area was smaller, the PUSH score was lower, and the WBS and clinical efficacy were higher in the experimental group than the control group ( t / Z = 2.205, 3.226, 3.193 and -2.594, P= 0.032, 0.002, 0.002 and 0.009). The wound healing time was shorter in the experimental group (t = 3.331, P= 0.002). Conclusion The regenerative medical technology for wounds and ulcers can promote the healing of chronic refractory stage IV pressure ulcers.
