【Abstract】 Objective To analyze the influencing factors of post-traumatic stress disorder in school-age children with burn injuries. Methods A total of 150 school-age children with burn injuries admitted from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects, and the general data, family conditions and disease-related conditions of the children were collected, and the influencing factors of post-traumatic stress disorder complicated by burns were analyzed. Results A total of 4 of the 150 children were lost to follow-up, and 146 children were finally included. A total of 57 (39.04%) of the 146 children developed PTSD and were classified as the stress group, while the remaining 89 children (60.96%) did not develop PTSD and were classified as non-stress group. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that age, personality characteristics, perceived social support, mental health, coping style, burn severity, burn location, residual dysfunction and scarring degree were independent risk factors for post-traumatic stress disorder in school-age burn children (all P <0.05). Conclusion The occurrence of post-traumatic stress disorder in school-age children with burn injuries is closely related to the characteristics of the children, their society and the condition of the burns. |
